The first annual Fine Arts Award and Exhibition for Nassau County High School Art Students, sponsored by the Manes Peace Prize Foundation invited art teachers to submit up to 3 student’s artworks for a juried exhibition to be held at The Manes Art Education Center at Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor. These Young artists demonstrated a passion for fine art in media including photography, drawing, painting, and mixed media collage, and exhibited both technical accomplishment and enthusiasm for creative expression in their art classes. Each student whose 2-D artwork was exhibited received a $1000 award, and two artists were selected by a jury to receive an additional $2500 award each by Dr. Harvey Manes on May 3, 2024.

Viewing Hours are Saturdays and Sundays between 12 and 4 pm through May 25th.
