Levittown PAL wrestlers recently participated in the Seventh Annual Massapequa Youth Tournament, which was just renamed this year, the Al Bevilacqua Annual Youth Tournament.
The tournament was held on Sunday Jan. 10 at Massapequa High School and was renamed in honor of the former Massapequa coach, who still is very involved in the Massapequa wrestling program to date.
The tournament was staffed with all volunteers, including referees and there were about 350 first through sixth grade wrestlers in attendance from Nassau County, Suffolk County, Staten Island, Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey and many members of the Levittown PAL.
