MacArthur Baseball Player Grabs Scholarship for Mercy College

MacArthur High School first baseman Nick Fiore became the latest MacArthur General baseball player to accept an athletic scholarship, committing to Mercy College, a Division II baseball program in Dobbs Ferry, New York.  Nick had a strong season for MacArthur, helping the Generals to the League IAA Championship.  Nick is also an excellent student who has the respect of his teachers and coaches.  Varsity coaches Steve Costello and Vin Causeman view Nick as a team leader and a role model for the younger players in the program.  Nick is the 10th MacArthur player from the class of 2010 to accept a scholarship for next season.
