Sewanhaka High School held its commencement ceremony at Hofstra University on Saturday, June 23. Filled with extraordinary musical performances members of the graduating class, it was a day of reflection and excitement as the class officially became alumni of the district.
The ceremony included speeches by valedictorian Daniel Myrick, salutatorian 2012 Daniella Amell, Principal Debra Lidowsky and Superintendent of Schools Ralph Ferrie. The high school band and chorus performed musical presentations.
