The Levittown PAL registration for seasonal programs will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29 and Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All participants must register at the Levittown PAL office at 3000 Hempstead Tpke., Suite 203 in Levittown.
Program offerings:
Archery – grades 3-12, coed. Learn fundamentals of archery from trained safety course instructors. Equipment will be provided. Trophies and shirts included. Starting in late March or early April. Program approximately eight weeks. Fee $100.
Tennis – ages 4-17, coed. Fees: ages 4-8 $150, ages 9-17 $180.
Track – grades K-10, coed. Begins end of March, practice generally on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. at Division Avenue High School. Beginning April, friendly competition with other NCPAL units on Saturday mornings. Events include dashes, runs, relays and field events. Season runs through June. Shirt and shorts included. Fee $50.
Horseback Riding – grades 1 and up. Fundamentals of riding, tacking and horsemanship. The program will consist of six, half-hour, once weekly sessions to be available both on selected weekday afternoons and weekends. Four registrants per class. Program begins in March. Fee $190.
