Nassau County is currently holding a Sports Equipment Drive, to collect gently used sports equipment, until November 15. Equipment collected will benefit ACLD with over 20 group homes in Nassau County and a youth program for those with developmental and learning disabilities. The month long drive will also benefit children from various programs throughout the County. Everyone is encouraged to donate their gently used and new golf clubs, baseball mitts, tennis racquets, skates, balls and any sports related items at the following locations:

• Nassau County Aquatic Center-Eisenhower Park, Merrick Avenue south of Stewart Avenue, East Meadow
• Wantagh Park-1 King Road, Wantagh
• Christopher Morley Park-500 Searingtown Road, Roslyn/North Hills
• Ticket Office at Eisenhower Golf -Eisenhower Park, East Meadow
• Rev. Arthur Mackey Sr. Park-Lakeside Drive and Washington Road
• Mitchel Athletic Complex-1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Uniondale
• Cantiague Park-480 W John Street, Hicksville
• Old Bethpage Village Restoration-1303 Round Swamp Road, Old Bethpage
