Wind Chill Advisory For Port

Temperatures plummeted Tuesday as high winds passed through Port Washington overnight freezing any snow left over from last week’s storm.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for all of Nassau County through 6 p.m. Tuesday night.

Wind chill values can drop as low as -13 with winds blowing at 20-30 MPH and gusts up to 45 MPH.
