Cow Neck Chosen As Grand Marshal

cowAs developments jell for Pride in Port, which is less than a month away, the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society has been chosen as Grand Marshal for the parade that kicks the event off. Chris Bain, president of the society, marches in a Memorial Day parade with trustee Ken Buettner, driving his antique Jeep.
Joining him inside the jeep are Marla Freeman, society vice president; and trustee Ann Latner. The Pride parade will start at 11:30 a.m. on Main Street at Belleview Avenue and will finish at the Schreiber High School campus. Pride in Port, Port Washington’s annual celebration of its community, is on Saturday, Sept. 20.
