Westbury resident and Morrisville State College senior offensive lineman Fahraad Johnson was recently named to the 2015 D3football.com preseason All American second team at right tackle.
Johnson had an outstanding 2014 season campaign that saw him start all 11 games for the Mustangs. He was part of the offensive line that sat at the top of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) in scoring, total offense, rushing offense and first downs.
His efforts earned the Mustangs national attention, ranking 16th in all of Division III in total offense, as they claimed a share of the NJAC title and earned the program’s first post-season bid where they captured the ECAC North Central Bowl Championship.
Johnson was a first team all-conference selection in 2014 and was recently named to the first team USA College Division III Preseason All-American watch list. The 2014 season also garnered him third team D3football.com All-Region accolades.
The senior is a graduate of Westbury High and is majoring in applied psychology at Morrisville State College. He is the son of Cynthia Stanford and William Johnson.
