Jericho Library Art Lecture

CalSYO_021016DThe Jericho library welcomes Professor Thomas Germano back for the art lecture, “Jackson Pollock: A Survey” on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. The Museum of Modern Art in New York City will present a survey exhibition of the work of Jackson Pollock through March 13.

This lecture will examine Pollock’s early work from the 1930s and early 1940s, when he made loose figurative images based on mythical or primeval themes, to the late 1940s and early 1950s, when he pioneered the radical abstractions for which he is best known.
