The annual Port Washington Community Action Council (CAC) dinner was on May 26. The CAC provides programs for economically disadvantaged children, young adults and families in the Port Washington area. The dinner honors graduating seniors who participated in the CAC and volunteers who assist the CAC’s summer camp, and other community service efforts. There were 12 honorees, including this year’s special honoree Port Washington Police Chief James Salerno. Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio awarded certificates and proclamations to the honorees, and presented the CAC with a town proclamation in recognition for all their efforts to improve our community.CAC061516A CAC061516B
