Adoption Cardi

*Senior Alert and Special Request* Cardi is a charismatic all black, short-haired gal, estimated to be about twelve years young. This dainty feline was brought to the animal shelter very underweight and as a stray.  Despite this, Cardi’s incredibly outgoing nature was evident from her bewitching tendency to follow around her caretakers for pets, and plenty of TLC. This stunning beauty loves all humans. A medical evaluation confirmed that Cardi is experiencing kidney changes and has an overactive thyroid, which is managed by medication. This girl has an unlimited supply of love and affection to give one very lucky family. Cardi would make a wonderful addition to most homes, including those with children, other cats and quite possibly dogs. Nothing would make Cardi happier than to find her furr-ever home where she can make up for lost time, collecting snuggles and TLC from her special humans.

Adoption Cocoa

Cocoa is a stunning Shepherd Mix, that arrived at the shelter as a scared girl, previously running the local streets. She has come a long way; she’s good on leash and accepts food rewards. She is good with all petting and is very playful. This 39 pound, 2-year-old lady does guard her food and toys, so she is available for an adult-only home. This behavior is workable and she will reward you with a best friend you never knew you needed! Once she truly trusts you, she flourishes and shines. Cocoa is really looking for an active home, where she continues to have her resource guarding managed, gets to go on walks / hikes and explore the world with you by her side.

Adoption Beefy

Beefy boy lives up to his name! This 68 pound black and white terrier mix came to the shelter after being abandoned – only to be found by officers with only a cloudy water bowl and chewed up plastic bits. Thankfully, Beefy did not ingest any foreign bodies and is as happy as ever! Beefy is a playful, 2-year-old boy who loves toys, especially playing tug-of-war and just being around people. Beefy is suggested to go to a home a solo dog where he was absolutely pleasant, however once he became comfy, he exhibited signs of guarding so he is being recommended for a home with teens and adults (trainer discretion).

Available for adoption through Tender Loving Cats

Mr. Krinkle

Looking for a super calm cat? Mr. Krinkle loves to lay around. He spent most of his life without the comforts of a loving home and he is enjoying being indoors with his foster. He has a folded ear due to ear infections that weren’t addressed until he was rescued. Hence the name of Mr. Krinkle! Not only does he get along with other cats but enjoys dogs too! Mr. Krinkle has the funniest meow, especially when he is in the mood to be picked up. This special cat will always accept pets and affection. He loves having a steady source of food and will hang around in the kitchen hoping for a crumb or two. He will be vocal if anything smells especially delicious to him. This cat is the perfect pet for any household. It’s time for Mr. Krinkle to find his forever home.

Adoption Bianca

Lap Cat Alert! Thats right! Bianca adores your attention, whether its sitting on your lap, enjoying getting petted or brushed by you, or sleeping near you. This stunning Calico girl has so much love to share, shes really an amazing companion. Bianca also LOVES to play! A wand toy gets her excited, and shes happy to run after it, and jump a bit. Bianca is a bit overweight, her previous owner likely let her eat unlimited dry food, and/or she didn’t get any exercise. Bianca needs to shed a few pounds for her health, and Tender Loving Cats will guide you on that journey. It’s still unclear as to how Bianca is with cats, she seems okay with mellow dogs (with proper slow acclimating of course). Bianca deserves the best loving, lifelong home. Shes truly a special kitty who has so much to give.

Adoption Pigeon

*Senior Alert* Pigeon is a sweet and loving cat looking for a good home. Her previous owner is a paraplegic senior who can no longer care for her. Pigeon purrs non-stop, even in her sleep. She enjoys chin and butt scratches. Pigeon will let you brush her but will let you know when it’s enough. Although Pigeon sleeps a lot she does get bursts of energy and likes to run around between naps. Since she has been in foster and eating Royal Canin food, she has improved with her sensitive stomach issues and does well on a high fiber diet. Pigeon would need to be the only Queen of her castle, and she is available for long term fostering or Seniors for Seniors adoption through TLC.
