Three teams from Manhasset Secondary School recently competed in the Division C Nassau West Science Olympiad Regional Tournament at Kellenberg High School in Uniondale.
With over forty teams competing, Manhasset won fourteen event medals and took fourth place overall, which qualified them for the State tournament next month.
The district congratulates each of the medal winners and thankful to the coaches, Ms. DiPreta and Ms. Alamo and parent volunteers Allison and Tim Wong for their guidance and support.

The Manhasset teams will be competing at States in Syracuse on March 21-22. Division B (grades 7-9) will be competing in Regionals on March 8 with hopes of advancing to the state competition in their division.
