The Levittown Athletic Club Twisters 8 & Under Girls’ Softball Tournament team played in the Futures Tournament in East Meadow in June.
They were undefeated, taking first place. The team then traveled to Staten Island to play in the Babe Ruth Metro New York 8U Tournament. Again, the girls played great softball, and again were undefeated becoming the champions. They will next travel to New Jersey to play in the Babe Ruth Regional Tournament.
The team includes Kara Haga, Ashley Budrewicz, Hannah Rommel, Casey Gehlhaus, Gabby Corona, Deanna Barrera, Sara Klucsarits, Jessica Budrewicz, Angela Sutch, Lauren Grieshaber, Megan Sorg, Julia DeVincezo and Hannah Voght.
