Obituary: Robert N. Montwill Sr.

Robert N. “Big Bob” Montwill Sr., of Commack, formerly of Levittown, died on July 27, 2009. A veteran of the USAF, he was a retired landfill supervisor for the Town of Hempstead. Husband of the late Susan. Fiance of Rita McDougall. Father of Robert N. Jr. (Kelly), Frank G. (Jodi), Kim McGurk (Michael), Robert McDougall, Bridgette Bock, Maureen Halbert, Kathryn Iadevaia and Margaret Laratondo. Brother of Frank and George. Poppy of Robert N. III, Rachel, Nicholas, Katie, Frankie, Jesse, Michael, Bridget, Matthew, Emily, Heather, Christopher, Sarah, Christian, Gianna, Dominick and Ava. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Service on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Hicksville United Methodist Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
