The Levittown Hot Shotz took part in a three-day tournament this summer in Wallingford, CT and returned undefeated. The first round was played under cloudy skies and resulted in one win and one tie. The second round was filled with rain but the team still won two games, qualifying them for the finals on the last day.
On the final morning, the field was wet. The Hot Shotz fell behind in the beginning of the game 1-0 but came back with three unanswered goals to take a 3-1 lead at the half. The minutes ticked away and the Hot Shotz scored their final goal in the second half to win the game 4-1. The Levittown Hot Shotz had four wins and one tie, which included three shut outs, only three goals allowed by the opposition and they scored 18 goals, all in 5 games. The team, parents and players, enjoyed a pizza party, a barbecue, go-carts, and miniature golf throughout the weekend. Coach Kathy and Coach Kevin, along with all the parents, were proud of the performance of the Levittown Hot Shotz.
