Alice M. Wasielewski-Sanchez, of Levittown, died on Oct. 6, 2010. A parishioner at St. Bernard RC Church, she was a member of the Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters. She was past president of The American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Hempstead. Wife of the late Theodore Wasielewski and the late Michael Sanchez. Mother of Kevin (Karen), Cheryl Cruthers (Tom), Craig (Carolyn), Renee Levy (Robert), Michael Sanchez (Jane), Michele Gunderson (William), Adriane Herbert (Michael), Katherine D’Arpa (Joseph) and Jannine Sanchez. Sister of Helen Renee Patterson. Grandmother of Eric, Ryan, Shawn, Melissa and Dylan. Grandmother of Michael Sanchez’s 12 grandchildren.
The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel. Mass at St. Bernard RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society Ministry, St. Bernard’s Church, 3100 Hempstead Tpke., Levittown, NY 11756, in her memory, would be appreciated.
