A Night of Improv
The Sarah Grace Foundation For Children With Cancer, Inc., will hold its 2nd Annual Theatrical Fundraiser, “Unrehearsed: A Night of Improv,” at 7 p.m. on June 1 and June 2 in the Hicksville United Methodist Church Social Hall, 130 West Old Country Rd., Hicksville. The family-oriented show will be similar to the popular improvisational comedy television show Whose Line Is It Anyway? Save A Life – Volunteer
Long Island Crisis Center, the 24 hour-a-day, seven day-a-week suicide prevention and crisis intervention hotline, is currently recruiting volunteers to participate in its upcoming Counselor Assistant Training Program. No experience is necessary and the hours are flexible (around-the-clock) to accommodate the individual needs of volunteers. The free, comprehensive orientation training program takes place over three-hour sessions at the Crisis Center’s office in Bellmore. June’s training will be held on three successive Mondays from 7 to 10 p.m. on June 11, 18 and 25. July’s training will be held on three successive Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 14, 21 and 28. Gypsy
The TBT Players in conjunction with the Temple B’nai Torah (2900 Jerusalem Ave., Wantagh) Capital Campaign Fund will present Rabbi Marci Bellows as Mama Rose in the musical Gypsy. Perri Levine will play legendary Gypsy Rose Lee. Performances begin June 16 for a limited run. As part of the fund raising effort, prior to single ticket sales, Rabbi Circle Seating along the Gypsy runway can be secured with a donation to the temple Capital Fund. Garage Sale

Lazy Days Of Summer Picnic
Plans are underway for the Levittown Community Council’s annual Lazy Days of Summer Picnic to be held at the East Village Green on Jerusalem Ave. on July 7. There will be free entertainment, activities and crafts at the event, which is a fun family day for all, paid for by membership fees and local business donations. Levittown Historical Society And Museum
The organization collects, preserves and educates history of Levittown. Holds seven yearly general meetings in the Community Room of the Levittown Library and maintains the museum located in the Levittown Memorial Education Center, Room 10, 150 Abbey Ln., Levittown. The museum contains history of Levittown, WWII memorabilia, artifacts from the Levitt houses, toys, furniture, clothing of the ‘40s and ‘50s, replicas of the Levitt kitchen and the Levitt ranch living room. Senior Center
Catholic Charities Seaford Community Service Center, located in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 2197 Jackson Ave., Seaford, welcomes persons age 60 and over to its multi-purpose senior center.
