Blood Drive
Nassau Community College (NCC), in conjunction with Nassau University Medical Center, will host its 18th Annual “Back to School” blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the College Center Building, 1 Education Dr., Garden City. The process takes less than an hour and refreshments will be served to participants. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old and in good health. Donors should bring photo identification. Although small snacks will be provided, donors should eat before donating. The Lymphatic Research Foundation is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Walk for Lymphedema and Lymphatic Diseases. The Bethpage Ocean to Sound 50-Mile Relay will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23 to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
