Junior guard Christina Merrill of Levittown was recently named Skyline Conference Player of the Week for her actions on the court to help the Farmingdale State Rams to a 65-37 victory, over Medgar Evers.
After nearly a month long break, Merrill scored a team-high of 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting opportunities and knocked down 4-of-5 shots from 3-point range in just 14 minutes of action. She added two rebounds, an assist and a steal. Merrill matched her single game career-high with four field goals from beyond the arc.
