YES celebrates “A Taste of the Town”
Who says you have to travel into Manhattan for a fun-filled evening of delicious food and drink? YES Community Counseling Center hosted its 7th Annual “A Taste of the Town”, featuring many of the South Shore’s finest culinary establishments. All proceeds from the event benefited YES, a non-profit community-based organization providing services to children and families in the community.
More than 200 people came in to sample some of the most delectable foods and desserts from many local restaurants who donated their time and talents for this fundraiser.
Participating establishments included: Sergio’s, Big Daddy’s, Anheuser-Busch, Inc., CaraCara Mexican Grill, Domenico’s of Levittown, Leonardo’s Pizza, Cheeburger Cheeburger, The
Nutty Irishman, The Good Life, Crostini Pizza, Kabul Grill, Francesco’s Bakery, Croxley’s Ale House, Panera Bread, Mario’s Pizza.
One guest leaving the event claimed, “This was the most exciting charity event I have ever been to – the food was so outstanding. I’ll be back next year with lots of friends.”
