The Levittown Chamber of Commerce held its general meeting at the Levittown Historical Society. The guest speaker was Paul Manton, president of the Levittown Historical Society. Manton presented one of the Levittown Historical Society’s most valuable artifacts—the eight original framed photographs of the 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race.
Bob Koenig, vice president of the Levittown Historical Society, spoke briefly about the businesses in Levittown and how it has changed through the years. The evening included a tour of the museum.
The chamber meets every third Wednesday of the month and meetings are open to the public. Meetings rotate month to month from a lunch to a dinner and then back to a lunch. In addition the officers and board of directors welcomed Lori McBride from Melaleuca Wellness, which is a wholesale buyers club in the green/organic industry.
